To be perfectly honest I didn't have a lot of faith in this carto. I think someone has coined the term "failomizer". This is attributed to the ce2s, the g4s, etc.
I was pleasantly surprised on this one though.
I didn't get the filler tip with my order that is supposed to fit on top of a juice bottle to make it super easy to fill the carto. I instead has to use a syringe. This is always a pain in the butt because the needle doesn't go far enough into the bottle to get the juice from a half full bottle. Anyway besides that this is easy to fill. You pop off the silicone plug, and fill. That's it.
SO I am all filled up, I put this on my reo grand running an 18650 aw imr battery. The first 10 drags were great. I was giving about 5 seconds between draws and it was keeping up until... the draw got very tight and I got the dreaded dry atty taste.
I spoke with some guys at gotvapes to make sure I didn't miss anything, and they asked me to try the second one.
I fill the second one, and let it sit for more than an hour just in case. I put it on my reo grand and start puffing away. I got 25 draws on this thing, every draw the same until I had to take a break. I probably shouldn't have been testing this thing at 24mg. It works well. The vapor is good. Not awesome, but good. The TH is good, but I don't like a real big TH. It is a cold vape. This is nice sometimes, but other times I need a warmer vape. Flavor is not bad for a carto. It does not even come close to dripping, but you can taste the juice.
So I am looking at both of these cartos. The second one I tried has a few pieces of wick coming out of the ego-t style spike in the reservoir. The first one, the one that doesn't wick well, doesn't have any wick sticking out.
While this carto is definitely a step in the right direction, I am 1 for 2 on them. They are sending me a new one when their big shipment comes in.
But, buyer beware as always.
I did do a video review also on youtube. It was late and I was tired, but all the info is there.
